At Sleepy Hollow. I'm finally in a picture, imagine that.
We went to a restaurant called Sleepy Hollow. What is different about this restaurant is that it is all decorated for Christmas in May. The story I heard was that during either WWII or the Korean war the owners of the place had a son who was due home around Christmas time so they decorated the entire place for his homecoming, but it never took place, he never made it home. They left the decorations up and they have been left up ever since. What a heart breaking story.
Still in Sleep Hollow. I thought the lighted flags in the background would be nice for Memorial Day. The food was very good here. I had a grilled pork chop...yum!
We sure enjoyed every minute of your visit. Just wish you could have stayed a little longer. I appreciate how you dragged us out to explore places we have never been. Please come back soon, there's much more to do. Hope your trip home was good and all was well when you arrived. Love you guys!
